BIOGRAPHY

DYLAN BANK

Dylan Bank is a director, screenwriter, cinematographer and editor in Brooklyn, New York, who's directed seven feature films. His first movie was distributed by IFC in 2009, and his most recent and largest film is a Netflix Original, Get Me Roger Stone, which premiered in the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.

After graduating from Vassar College, he quickly found the resources with producer Morgan Pehme to make his first movie, a psychosexual thriller called Nightmare. After playing and winning horror film festivals across America and Europe, it was released by IFC in 2009.

Bank began his collaboration with best-selling author and producer Kenneth Del Vecchio in 2013 with his third movie, an over-the-top horror film called Scavenger Killers. This bold and funny film stars Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight), Robert Loggia (Scarface), Dustin Diamond ("Saved By The Bell") and Charles Durning (O Brother Where Art Thou?).

Bank and Del Vecchio have since been on a roll, making four more features together, including the midnight-madness style Bleeding Hearts, the courtroom drama Rock Story, and the real-time thriller about a disgraced cop trying to redeem his reputation at all costs, American Criminal, which was shot in one continuous take.

In 2016, Bank and Del Vecchio completed their most ambitious film, a historical drama about a Jewish family fleeing Iran during the 1979 revolution, called Price For Freedom. Starring Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas), Sally Kirkland (JFK) and Navid Negahban (American Sniper), this amazing true story was released in August of 2019.

In April of 2017, Bank premiered his largest movie yet at the Tribeca Film Festival, a Netflix Original Film called Get Me Roger Stone. His first documentary, co-directed by longtime collaborator Pehme and Daniel DiMauro, gives unprecedented access to the man many call, “the greatest dirty trickster in American Politics”, and takes the audience into the world of the primary architect of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. It was released theatrically in NY and LA on May 12th, 2017, and worldwide on Netflix the same day.

Mr. Bank is currently gathering his forces for his next film, a major movie with an international theatrical release, based on his original screenplay.
